A Change of Pace

Moving from Birmingham in 2022 has given me a new appreciation for events and how differently they’re experienced outside a busy city. In the city, there was always something big happening: festivals, concerts, crowded nightlife. After years of fast-paced city life, these countryside events have shown me a different rhythm.

You start to appreciate quieter, more meaningful experiences: a live music night at a local pub, a performance by a local singer-songwriter, or an evening of jazz. Instead of huge crowds and big stages, the focus is on the atmosphere, the connection with the performers, and the chance to enjoy events in a more personal setting.
